     Johann Baron von Twickel was born in 1893 at Stovern. He was the son of Klemens Baron von Twickel and Huberta Gräfin Droste zu Vischering von Nesselrode-Reichenstein. He married Margarete Gräfin Droste zu Vischering in 1920 at Burg Vischering. He died in 1974.

     Her married name became von Twickel.
