     Adelheid Arna Karoline Marie Elisabeth Prinzessin von Sachsen-Meiningen was born on 16 August 1891.1 She was the daughter of Friedrich Johann Bernhard Hermann Heinrich Moritz Prinz von Sachsen-Meiningen and Adelheid Karoline Prinzessin zur Lippe-Biesterfeld.1 She married Adalbert Ferdinand Berengar Viktor Prinz von Preußen, son of Wilhelm II, Deutscher Kaiser, König von Preußen and Auguste Viktoria Prinzessin von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg, on 3 August 1914 at Wilhelmshaven, Schleswig-Holstein, GermanyG.1 She died on 25 April 1971 at age 79.1 She was also reported to have died on 25 April 1971.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Sachsen-Meiningen (styled as HH Princess of Saxe-Meiningen.1) She gained the title of Herzogin von Sachsen.1

     Friedrich Johann Bernhard Hermann Heinrich Moritz Prinz von Sachsen-Meiningen was born on 12 October 1861 at Meiningen, Thüringen, GermanyG.2 He was the son of Georg II Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen und Hildburghausen and Feodore Viktorie Adelheid Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg.3 He married Adelheid Karoline Prinzessin zur Lippe-Biesterfeld, daughter of Ernst Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld and Karoline Friederike Gräfin von Wartensleben, on 24 April 1889 at Neudorf, GermanyG.2 He died on 23 August 1914 at age 52 at Tarcienne, FranceG, killed in action.2
     He gained the title of Herzogin von Sachsen.1 He fought in the First World War.

     Adelheid Karoline Prinzessin zur Lippe-Biesterfeld was born on 22 June 1870 at Obercassel, GermanyG.2 She was the daughter of Ernst Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld and Karoline Friederike Gräfin von Wartensleben.2 She married Friedrich Johann Bernhard Hermann Heinrich Moritz Prinz von Sachsen-Meiningen, son of Georg II Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen und Hildburghausen and Feodore Viktorie Adelheid Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, on 24 April 1889 at Neudorf, GermanyG.2 She died on 3 September 1948 at age 78 at Detmold, GermanyG.2
     She gained the title of Prinzessin zur Lippe-Biesterfeld (styled as HH Princess of Lippe-Biesterfeld.) She was given the name of Adelheid Karoline Mathilde Emilie Agnes Ida Sophie zur Lippe-Biesterfeld at birth.1
