     Lady Lillian Maud Spencer-Churchill was born on 9 July 1873.1 She was the daughter of George Charles Spencer-Churchill, 8th Duke of Marlborough and Lady Albertha Frances Anne Hamilton.1 She married Colonel Cecil Alfred Grenfell, son of Pascoe du Pré Grenfell and Sophia Grenfell, on 8 October 1898.1 She died on 4 January 1951 at age 77.1
     From 8 October 1898, her married name became Grenfell.

     Colonel Cecil Alfred Grenfell was born on 13 February 1864.2 He was the son of Pascoe du Pré Grenfell and Sophia Grenfell.3 He married Lady Lillian Maud Spencer-Churchill, daughter of George Charles Spencer-Churchill, 8th Duke of Marlborough and Lady Albertha Frances Anne Hamilton, on 8 October 1898.1 He died on 11 August 1924 at age 60.2
     He held the office of Boer War in 1900.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bodmin between January 1910 and December 1910.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Buckinghamshire Yeomanry.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1917 in the Remount Service.2

     From 1 December 1920, her married name became Bradley-Birt.
