     Major Lesley Reginald Coventry Douglas-Hamilton was born on 30 June 1881.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Aubrey Reginald Douglas-Hamilton and Lucy Fitzgerald.1 He died on 24 July 1916 at age 35 at Somme, FranceG, killed in action.1
     He was also known as Lesley Reginald Coventry Hamilton. He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the Battle of Loos, where he was severely wounded.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1916 in the Cameron Highlanders.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Cameron Highlanders.1

     Lieutenant Herbert Eustace Seymour Douglas-Hamilton was born on 2 June 1886.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Aubrey Reginald Douglas-Hamilton and Lucy Fitzgerald.1 He married Ruth Harrison, daughter of Cuthbert Harrison and Evangeline Piper, on 27 February 1912.1 He died on 15 June 1963 at age 77 at Vernon, British Columbia, CanadaG.1,2
     He was also known as Herbert Eustace Seymour Hamilton. He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Balck Watch.1 He gained the rank of Gunner in the Canadian Field Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1
