     Daniil, Grand Duke of Moscow was born in 1261.1 He was the son of Aleksandr I Nevski, Grand Duke of Vladimir and Vasilisa (?)1 He married Basilisa of Rostov, daughter of Dimitri of Rostov , Duke of Rostov, in 1294.1 He died in 1303.1
     He was created Grand Duke of Moscow circa 1263.2
