     Robert Balfour was born on 7 April 1772 at ScotlandG.2 He was the son of James Balfour and Betty Caw.1 He married Isabella Edmond, daughter of George Edmond and Jean Thomson, on 29 December 1817.3,4 He died on 30 January 1847 at age 74 at Southfield, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.3,4

     Sir William Russell, 1st and last Bt. was born between 1617 and 1640.2 He was the son of Sir William Russell, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Smallpage.2 He married Hesther Rouse, daughter of Sir Thomas Rouse, 1st Bt.. He died before 1714, without male issue.2
     Sir William Russell, 1st and last Bt. also went by the nick-name of 'the white Sir William'.2 He was created 1st Baronet Russell, of Langherne, Carmarthenshire [England] on 8 November 1660.2

     Sir Robert Cotton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1635.2 He was the son of Thomas Cotton and Elizabeth Calveley.3 He married Hester Salusbury, daughter of Sir Thomas Salusbury, 2nd Bt. and Hester Tyrrell.2 He died on 17 December 1712.2
     He was appointed Knight in 1660.2 He was created 1st Baronet Cotton, of Combermere, co. Chester [England] on 29 March 1677.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between 1679 and 1702.2
