     Jane Johnson married, firstly, Sir William Bird.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Acton, 1st Bt., son of Richard Acton and Margaret Daniel, after 1624.1 She died circa February 1644/45.1 She was buried on 1 March 1644/45 at St. Peter's Cheap, London, EnglandG.1 Her will (dated 3 December 1640) was proven (by probate) on 28 February 1644/45.1
     Her married name became Bird.1 From after 1624, her married name became Acton.1

     Elizabeth Acton is the daughter of Sir William Acton, 1st Bt. and Anne Bill.1 She married Sir Thomas Whitmore, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Whitmore and Dorothy Weld, on 16 March 1635 at Leyton, Essex, EnglandG.1 She was also reported to have been married on 16 April 1635.2 She died in 1666.2
     She inherited her mother's estate of Astwell, Hertfordshire.1 From 16 March 1635, her married name became Whitmore.1

     Sir Thomas Whitmore, 1st Bt. was born on 28 November 1612 at London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir William Whitmore and Dorothy Weld.3 He married Elizabeth Acton, daughter of Sir William Acton, 1st Bt. and Anne Bill, on 16 March 1635 at Leyton, Essex, EnglandG.1 He was also reported to have been married on 16 April 1635.4 He died in 1653.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1631 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)4 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1639 entitled to practise as a barrister.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgnorth between 1640 and 1644.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgnorth between April 1640 and May 1640.4 He was created 1st Baronet Whitmore, of Apley, co. Shropshire [England] on 28 June 1641.1 He lived at Apley, Shropshire, EnglandG.4
