     Mary Fleming was the daughter of William Fleming, 11th Lord Slane and Elinor Fleming.1 She married Sir Thomas Alen, 1st Bt., son of John Alen and Anne Dillon, after 1616.1 She died on 18 November 1623, without issue.1 She was buried on 3 December 1623 at Donacomper, County Kildare, IrelandG.1
     From after 1616, her married name became Alen.1

     He gained the title of 12th Lord Slane.

     Hon. Mary Preston was the daughter of Jenico Preston, 5th Viscount Gormanston and Margaret St. Lawrence.1 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Alen, 1st Bt., son of John Alen and Anne Dillon, after 1623.1 She married, secondly, Simon Luttrell before November 1634.1 She died between March 1665 and June 1666.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 18 June 1666.2
     From after 1623, her married name became Alen.1 From before November 1634, her married name became Luttrell.1 Her last will was dated 9 March 1665.

     Jenico Preston, 5th Viscount Gormanston was born circa 1585.2 He was the son of Christopher Preston, 4th Viscount Gormanston and Catherine FitzWilliam.2 He married Margaret St. Lawrence, daughter of Nicholas St. Lawrence, 8th Baron Howth and Margaret Barnewall.2 He died on 14 March 1629/30.2
     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Gormanston [I., 1478] on 24 January 1599/0.2 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Preston of Gormanston [I., 1370] on 24 January 1599/0.2

     Margaret St. Lawrence was the daughter of Nicholas St. Lawrence, 8th Baron Howth and Margaret Barnewall.1,2 She married, firstly, Jenico Preston, 5th Viscount Gormanston, son of Christopher Preston, 4th Viscount Gormanston and Catherine FitzWilliam.3 She married, secondly, Lucas Plunkett, 1st Earl of Fingall, son of Christopher Plunkett, 8th Lord Killeen and Genet Dillon, after 1632.3 She died on 16 November 1637.4
     Her married name became Preston.3 After her marriage, Margaret St. Lawrence was styled as Viscountess Gormanston on 24 January 1599/0. From after 1632, her married name became Plunkett.3

     Nicholas St. Lawrence, 8th Baron Howth was born circa 1555.2 He was the son of Christopher St. Lawrence, 7th Baron Howth and Elizabeth Plunket.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Barnewall, daughter of Sir Christopher Barnewall.2 He married, secondly, Mary Whyte, daughter of Sir Nicholas Whyte.2
     He was appointed Knight in 1588.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Howth [I., c. 1440] on 24 October 1589.2
