     Wilbraham Egerton was born on 1 September 1781.1 He was the son of William Tatton Egerton and Mary Wilbraham-Bootle.2,3 He married Elizabeth Sykes, daughter of Sir Christopher Sykes, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Tatton, on 11 January 1806.3 He died on 25 April 1856 at age 74.
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)4 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1808.3 He lived at Tatton Park, Cheshire, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chester between 1822 and 1831.3
