     Mary Rose was born circa 1749.1 She married Sir William Alston, 8th Bt., son of Sir William Alston, 7th Bt. and Elizabeth Weare, on 18 December 1770 at Lingfield, Surrey, EnglandG.1 She died on 3 February 1782.1 She was buried at Lingfield, Surrey, EnglandG.1
     From 18 December 1770, her married name became Alston.1

     William Alston was born circa 1771.1 He was the son of Sir William Alston, 8th Bt. and Mary Rose.1 He married Elizabeth Brister, daughter of John Brister, on 2 January 1793 at Lingfield, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He died on 23 March 1802, without male issue.1
     He had two other daughters.1

     Sir Thomas Alston, 1st Bt. was born circa 1609.1 He was the son of Thomas Alston and Frances Blundevill.1 He married Elizabeth St. John, daughter of Hon. Sir Rowland St. John and Sybella Vaughan, before 1650.1 He died circa July 1678.1 He was buried on 11 July 1678 at Odell, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 25 April 1678) was proven (by probate) on 19 July 1678.1
     He matriculated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 8 July 1625.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple before 1634.1 He was a barrister in 1639.1 He was appointed Knight before 1641.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Bedfordshire from 1641 to 1642.1 He was created 1st Baronet Alston, of Odell, co. Bedford [England] on 13 June 1642.1 He held the office of an Assessment Commissioner for Bedfordshire in 1643.1 He held the office of an Assessment Commissioner for Bedfordshire in 1660.1
