     Alexander Anstruther, 4th Lord Newark was born circa 1711. He was the son of Sir Alexander Anstruther and Jean Leslie, Baroness Newark.1 He married Elizabeth Prince, daughter of Captain John Prince, circa 1743. He died on 10 March 1791.
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Newark.1

     Jean Anstruther is the daughter of Sir James Anstruther of Anstruther and Jean Scott.1 She married, firstly, Hon. James Douglas, son of William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton and Lady Agnes Leslie, in 1609.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Riddell of that Ilk, 1st Bt., son of Andrew Riddell of Riddell and Haining and unknown daughter Pringle, before July 1630.2
     From 1609, her married name became Douglas.1 From before July 1630, her married name became Riddell.

     Sir John Henderson, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 December 1686.2 He was the son of Sir William Henderson, 2nd Bt. and Jean Hamilton.3,2 He married Christian Anstruther, daughter of Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 1st Bt. and Jean Monteith.1 He died in 1729/30.2
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Henderson, of Fordell, co. Fife [N.S., 1664] in 1709.4,3

     Jean Anstruther was the daughter of Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 1st Bt. and Jean Monteith.1 A contract for the marriage of Jean Anstruther and James Makgill of Rankeillour was signed on 20 January 1720.2
     From 20 January 1720, her married name became Makgill.1

     James Makgill of Rankeillour was the son of David Makgill of Rankeillour and Janet Craig.2 A contract for the marriage of James Makgill of Rankeillour and Jean Anstruther was signed on 20 January 1720.1 He died before 26 September 1747, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Makgill of Cousland [S., 1651] in September 1717, de jure.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount of Oxfuird [S., 1651] in September 1717, de jure.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Makgill [N.S., 1627] in September 1717, de jure.1
