     Sir Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Bt. was born on 10 September 1887.1 He was the son of Sir Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 5th Bt. and Emily Harriet Wade.1 He married, firstly, Mary Augusta Chilton, daughter of Reverend Robert William Chilton and Margaret Harrison, on 11 October 1911.1 He married, secondly, Nancy Cecil Bull, daughter of Joseph Cecil Bull, on 4 December 1965.1 He died on 30 May 1969 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1919.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1925.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1934.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Fletcher, of Cleahall, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1782] on 5 January 1937.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire between 1954 and 1961.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1957.1 He wrote the book A History of the Foot Guards.1

     Sir Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 5th Bt. was born on 13 March 1846.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Fletcher, 3rd Bt. and Emily Maria Browne.1 He married, firstly, Gertrude Isabella Howell, daughter of John Howell, on 9 October 1875.1 He married, secondly, Emily Harriet Wade, daughter of Reverend Nugent Wade and Louisa Fenwick, on 18 April 1882.1 He married, thirdly, Aileen Mary Macpherson, daughter of John Macpherson, on 3 June 1913.1 He died on 5 January 1937 at age 90.1
     He was given the name of Lancelot Fletcher at birth.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Fletcher, of Cleahall, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1782] on 19 May 1910.1 On 23 June 1910 his name was legally changed to Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher by Royal Licence.1
