     Alexander Campbell, 1st of Auchendarroch was born in 1800.1 He was the son of Archibald Campbell of Blackhouse and Katherine Fish.1 He married Harriet Agnes Marian Keir, daughter of James Keir.1 He died in July 1902.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Argyllshire and Bute Volunteer Artillery.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Auchendarroch, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1

     Harriet Agnes Marian Keir was the daughter of James Keir.1 She married Alexander Campbell, 1st of Auchendarroch, son of Archibald Campbell of Blackhouse and Katherine Fish.1 She died in 1883.1

     Isabella Catherine Fairlie was the daughter of Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy Fairlie and Anne Eliza MacLeod.1 She married Archibald James Campbell, son of Alexander Campbell, 1st of Auchendarroch and Harriet Agnes Marian Keir, on 10 October 1867.1 She died on 2 November 1935.1
     From 10 October 1867, her married name became Campbell.1

Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy Fairlie1

     Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy Fairlie was born on 10 October 1809 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.2 He was the son of William Fairlie and Margaret Ogilvy.3 He was baptised on 11 November 1809 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.2 He married, firstly, Anne Eliza MacLeod, daughter of John Norman MacLeod, 24th of MacLeod and Anne Stephenson, on 2 June 1840.4 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Constance Crawford on 22 July 1845 at Symington, Ayrshire, Scotland.5 He died on 5 December 1870 at age 61.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 27 April 1871.2
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Williamfield, Ayrshire, Scotland.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Coodham, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1

     Alastair Magnus Campbell, 2nd of Auchendarroch was born on 6 December 1868.1 He was the son of Archibald James Campbell and Isabella Catherine Fairlie.1 He married, firstly, Lilias Mary Robertson-Glasgow, daughter of Robert Bruce Robertson-Glasgow and Deborah Louisa Grace Purdon, on 24 August 1897.1 He married, secondly, Evelyn Sanderson, daughter of Arthur Sanderson, on 2 January 1903.1 He died on 17 August 1930 at age 61.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 7 March 1908.1
