     Egidia Geils Kennedy was the daughter of John Kennedy of Culzean and Jane Stewart.3,1 She married Sir John Grierson, 6th of Lag, son of Roger Grierson and Agnes Douglas, between 1535 and 20 August 1548 at Dumfries-shire, ScotlandG.1,2 She died after 1 October 1575 at Bargatton Farm, Balmaghie, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.2
