     Sir Roger Beckwith, 1st Bt. was the son of Arthur Beckwith and Mary Wyvill.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Clapham, daughter of Sir Christopher Clapham and Margaret Oldfield.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Jenings, daughter of Sir Edmund Jenings, at Ripon, Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG.1 He died on 6 December 1700, having shot himself.1 His will (dated 7 May 1690) was proven (by probate) on 28 February 1700/1.1 He was buried at Ripon, Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Beckwith, of Aldborough, co. York [England] on 15 April 1681.1

     Sir Marmaduke Wyvill, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1590.2 He was the son of Christopher Wyvill and Jane Stapleton.3 He married Isabell Gascoigne, daughter of Sir William Gascoigne and Barbara Anderson.2 He died before 1647.2
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Wyvill.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1633 to 1634.2
