Sir John Paulet1

     Sir John Paulet was the son of Sir John Paulet and Eleanor Roos.2,3 He married Alice Paulet, daughter of Sir William Paulet, before June 1468.2 He died in 1525.1
     He fought in the Battle of Blackheath in 1497, where he commanded King Henry VII's troops.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1501.2 He lived at Basing, Hampshire, England.2 He lived at Nunney Castle, Somerset, England.2

     Grace Shuckburgh was born circa 1640 at Kenilworth Castle, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Sir Richard Shuckburgh and Grace Holte.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Bernard, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Bernard, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Tolcarne, on 30 August 1670.1 She died in 1721.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in 1721.1
     From 30 August 1670, her married name became Bernard.1 Her married name became Marrett.1
