Sir Richard Bennet, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir Richard Bennet, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 15 July 1673 at Babraham, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Levinus Bennet, 2nd Bt. and Judith Boevey.1 He married Elizabeth Cæsar, daughter of Sir Charles Cæsar and Susanna Bonfoy, on 27 June 1695 at Ely Chapel, St. Andrew's, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 23 May 1701 at age 27 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields, London, EnglandG, without male issue, from smallpox.1 He was buried on 29 May 1701 at Babraham, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 23 June 1701.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bennet, of Baberham, co. Cambridge [E., 1660] on 5 December 1693.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Elizabeth Cæsar was born circa 1679.1 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Cæsar and Susanna Bonfoy.1 She married, firstly, Sir Richard Bennet, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Levinus Bennet, 2nd Bt. and Judith Boevey, on 27 June 1695 at Ely Chapel, St. Andrew's, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 She married, secondly, James Butler on 31 January 1704.1 She died on 1 July 1727.1 She was buried on 5 July 1727 at Worminghurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1
     She was also known as Charles Adelmare.1 From 27 June 1695, her married name became Bennet.1 From 31 January 1704, her married name became Butler.1 She lived at Bennington, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1
