     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Mexican Navy.1

     Mary Rogers is the daughter of John Warrington Rogers.1 She married, firstly, Captain Charles Windham de la Poer Beresford, son of Reverend John George de la Poer Beresford and Hon. Caroline Amelia Denman, on 27 August 1891.1 She married, secondly, John Barton Hunt on 27 June 1906.1
     From 27 August 1891, her married name became Beresford.1 From 27 June 1906, her married name became Hunt.1

     He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Marine.1 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1885.1
