     Amelia Offley was born on 27 July 1717.1 She was the daughter of Stephen Offley and Anne Shute.1 She married Sir Francis Bernard, 1st Bt., son of Reverend Francis Bernard and Margaret Winlowe, in 1741.1 She died on 26 May 1778 at age 60.1 She was buried at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 11 May 1779.1
     From 1741, her married name became Bernard.1
