Major Everard Knatchbull-Hugessen1

     Major Everard Knatchbull-Hugessen was born on 17 April 1871.1 He was the son of Reverend Reginald Bridges Knatchbull-Hugessen and Maria Brockman.1 He married Grace Marshall Hindmarsh, daughter of James Arthur Hindmarsh, on 23 September 1908.1 He died on 13 October 1946 at age 75.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in disptaches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Northamptonshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1 He fought in the First World War.1

Grace Marshall Hindmarsh1

     Grace Marshall Hindmarsh was the daughter of James Arthur Hindmarsh.1 She married Major Everard Knatchbull-Hugessen, son of Reverend Reginald Bridges Knatchbull-Hugessen and Maria Brockman, on 23 September 1908.1 She died on 11 August 1937.1
     From 23 September 1908, her married name became Knatchbull-Hugessen.1

     Mary Knatchbull-Hugessen was born on 22 September 1909.1 She is the daughter of Major Everard Knatchbull-Hugessen and Grace Marshall Hindmarsh.1 She married William Paterson Keith, son of Samuel Paterson Keith, on 22 March 1932.2
     From 22 March 1932, her married name became Keith.2 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.2

     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1

     Pleasance Anne Knatchbull-Hugessen was born on 7 September 1920.1 She was the daughter of Major Everard Knatchbull-Hugessen and Grace Marshall Hindmarsh.1 She married John Stuart Comery, son of William Comery, on 16 February 1948.1 She died on 15 May 2015 at age 94.2
     She gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.1 From 16 February 1948, her married name became Comery.1 She lived in 2003 at Home Farm, Upper Hayesden, Tonbridge, Kent, EnglandG.1

     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1
