     Sir Edward Smyth, 4th Bt. was born on 12 November 1710 at St. James' Court, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt. and Anne Hedges.1 He was baptised on 16 November 1710 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He married Elizabeth Mayse, daughter of Joseph Johnson, on 11 June 1747 at Milton Bryan, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 4 March 1760 at age 49, without issue.1 He was buried on 8 March 1760 at Theydon Mount, Essex, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Smith, of Hill Hall, co. Essex [E., 1661] on 16 August 1744.1
