     Sir Griffith Boynton, 7th Bt. was born on 17 July 1769 at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Griffith Boynton, 6th Bt. and Mary Heblethwayte.1 He married Anna Maria Parkhurst, daughter of Captain Robert Parkhurst and Ann Ogle Guyther, on 30 July 1790 at Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He died on 10 July 1801 at age 31 at Epsom, Surrey, EnglandG, without issue.2 He was buried at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] on 6 January 1778.1 He was educated at Cheam School, Headley, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1789 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He excluded himself from society for many years before his death, even though he was eminently accomplished and learned.1

     Anna Maria Parkhurst was born on 12 August 1763.1 She was the daughter of Captain Robert Parkhurst and Ann Ogle Guyther.1,2 She was baptised on 25 September 1763 at Shenstone, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 She married, firstly, Sir Griffith Boynton, 7th Bt., son of Sir Griffith Boynton, 6th Bt. and Mary Heblethwayte, on 30 July 1790 at Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Charles Drake Barnard after 1801.1 She died on 17 March 1853 at age 89 at Connaught Square, Paddington, London, EnglandG.1 She was buried at Bigby, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in April 1853.1
     From 30 July 1790, her married name became Boynton.1 From after 1801, her married name became Barnard.1
