     Harold Brocklebank was born on 24 November 1853.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Brocklebank, 1st Bt. and Anne Robinson.1 He married Mary Ellen Brogden, daughter of John Brogden, in 1878.1 He died on 1 December 1936 at age 83.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th West Lancaster (Howitzer) Brigade, Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Captain Harold Arthur Brocklebank was born in 1889.1 He was the son of Harold Brocklebank and Mary Ellen Brogden.1 He married Morwenna Riley, daughter of John Athelstan Laurie Riley and Hon. Andalusia Louisa Charlotte Georgina Molesworth, on 15 January 1920.1 He died on 12 June 1944.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Royal Lancaster Regiment.1

     From 15 January 1920, her married name became Brocklebank.1
