     Dorothy Wilson was the daughter of Daniel Wilson and Elizabeth Crowle.1 She married Venerable William Fleming, son of Rt. Rev. Sir George Fleming, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Jefferson, on 27 December 1739.1 She died on 12 March 1742.1
     From 27 December 1739, her married name became Fleming.1

Venerable William Fleming1

     Venerable William Fleming was born on 10 August 1709.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Sir George Fleming, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Jefferson.1,2 He married Dorothy Wilson, daughter of Daniel Wilson and Elizabeth Crowle, on 27 December 1739.1 He died on 12 March 1742 at age 32.2
     He graduated from Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Archdeacon of Carlisle between 1734 and 1743.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)2

     Rt. Rev. Sir George Fleming, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1670.2 He was the son of Sir Daniel Fleming and Barbara Fletcher.2 He married Catherine Jefferson, daughter of Robert Jefferson, on 28 October 1708.2 He died on 2 July 1747, with two daughters (died young):.2
     He was educated at St. Edmund's Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was the Vicar in 1695 at Aspatria, Cumberland, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Carlisle of Carlisle in 1701.2 He was the Vicar in 1703 at Kirkland, Cumberland, EnglandG.2 He was the Rector in 1703 at Stanwix, Cumberland, EnglandG.2 He was the Rector in 1705 at Salkeld, Cumberland, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Archdeacon of Carlisle in 1705.2 He was the Rector in 1719 at Ullesby, Cumberland, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Dean of Carlisle in 1727.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) in February 1726/27.2 He held the office of the Rector in 1729.2 He held the office of Bishop of Carlisle between 1735 and 1747.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fleming, of Rydal, co. Westmorland [E., 1705] on 29 August 1736.2

     Dorothy Fleming was the daughter of Sir William Fleming, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Rowlandson.1,3 She married Edward Wilson, son of Daniel Wilson and Elizabeth Crowle, on 19 June 1746.1
     From 19 June 1746, her married name became Wilson.1

     Sir William Fleming, 1st Bt. was born on 15 March 1656.3 He was the son of Sir Daniel Fleming and Barbara Fletcher.3 He married Dorothy Rowlandson, daughter of Thomas Rowlandson, on 1 August 1723.3 He died on 29 August 1736 at age 80, without male issue.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland between 1696 and 1698.3 He was Commissioner of Excise in 1698.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland between 1698 and 1700.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland from 1704 to 1705.3 He was created 1st Baronet Fleming, of Rydal, co. Westmorland [England] on 4 October 1705, with a special remainder to the male descendants of his father.3 He lived at Rydal Hall, Cumberland, EnglandG.3
