     Mary Magdalene Broughton is the daughter of Thomas Delves Broughton and Elizabeth Hester Rowlls Legh.1 She married Archibald William Blane, son of Thomas Blane and Elizabeth Oliphant, on 10 April 1834.1
     From 10 April 1834, her married name became Blane.1

     Archibald William Blane was born on 29 March 1788 at St. Luke, London, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Blane and Elizabeth Oliphant.1,2 He married Mary Magdalene Broughton, daughter of Thomas Delves Broughton and Elizabeth Hester Rowlls Legh, on 10 April 1834.1 He died on 2 November 1852 at age 64 at Booral, New South Wales, Australia.1,2
     He held the office of Member of the Council [Mauritius].2 He was Collector of Customs of the Island of Mauritius.2 He was Director and Deputy Governor of the Australian Agricultural Company.2

     Sir Gilbert Blane, 1st Bt. was born on 29 August 1749 at Blanefield, Kirkoswald, Ayrshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Gilbert Blane and Agnes McFadzen.1,2 He married Elizabeth Gardiner, daughter of Abraham Gardiner and Mary Newman, on 11 July 1786 at Marylebone, London, England.2 He died on 26 June 1854 at age 104 at London, England.2
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Blane.1 He was Physician-in-Ordinary to King George IV.2 He was Physician-in-Ordinary to King William IV.2

     Edward Delves Broughton was born on 23 October 1782.2 He was the son of Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton, 6th Bt. and Mary Wicker.1 He was baptised on 11 December 1782.1 He married Elizabeth Batt, daughter of John Batt, on 25 October 1808.1 He died on 24 April 1825 at age 42.1
