     Brigadier John Gerhard Edward Tiarks was born on 28 December 1896.1 He was the son of John Gerhard Tiarks and Ada Constance Helen Harington.1 He married Evelyn Florence Cripps, daughter of Percy Roland Cripps and Mary Howard Tripp, on 1 June 1922. He died on 27 November 1962 at age 65, killed while hunting with the Berkeley.1
     He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI between 1947 and 1950.2

     John Gerhard Tiarks was born on 12 March 1867.1 He was the son of Reverend John Gerhard Tiarks and Anne Condron.1 He married Ada Constance Helen Harington, daughter of Reverend Edward Templer Harington and Ada Drew, on 6 February 1895. He died on 21 August 1901 at age 34.1

     Rev. Dr. Johann Gerhard Tiarks was born on 17 December 1794.1 He was the son of Reverend Johann Gerhard Tiarks and Catherina Dorothea Ehrentraut.1 He married Emily Phipps, daughter of Josiah Phipps, on 20 October 1825. He died on 8 March 1858 at age 63.1
     He graduated from University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)1
