     Janet Monteith Erskine was born on 17 June 1899.2 She was the daughter of Sir James Malcolm Monteith Erskine and Cicely Grace Quicke.1,2 She married John Wardrop-Moore, son of Colonel unknown Wardrop-Moore, on 21 April 1921.2 She died on 26 February 1967 at age 67, two daughters.2
     She gained the rank of Officer in 1918 in the QMAAC.2 From 21 April 1921, her married name became Wardrop-Moore.2

Sir James Malcolm Monteith Erskine1

     Sir James Malcolm Monteith Erskine was born on 18 July 1863.2 He was the son of David Holland Erskine and Augusta Jane Stoddart.2 He married Cicely Grace Quicke, daughter of Reverend Charles Penrose Quicke, on 7 September 1898.2 He died on 5 November 1944 at age 81.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. George's, Westminster between 1921 and 1929.2

     Sir William Cuningham-Fairlie of Robertland and Fairlie, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir William Cuningham of Robertland, 5th Bt. and Margaret Fairlie.2 He married Anne Colquhoun, daughter of Robert Colquhoun and Frances Mills.2 He died on 15 October 1811.2
     He was given the name of William Cuningham at birth.3 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Cuningham, of Robertland, co. Ayr [N.S., 1630] on 25 October 1781.2

     Anne Colquhoun Cuningham-Fairlie was the daughter of Sir William Cuningham-Fairlie of Robertland and Fairlie, 6th Bt. and Anne Colquhoun.1,2 She married Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 7th Bt., son of Sir Michael Bruce of Stenhouse, 6th Bt. and Mary Agnew, in June 1795.1
     From June 1795, her married name became Bruce.

     Sir Michael Bruce of Stenhouse, 8th Bt. was born on 31 March 1798.1 He was the son of Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 7th Bt. and Anne Colquhoun Cuningham-Fairlie.1 He married Isabella Moir, daughter of Alexander Moir and Margaret Gordon, on 10 June 1822.1 He died on 14 December 1862 at age 64, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Bruce, of Stenhouse [N.S., 1628] on 17 November 1827.1

     From 10 June 1822, her married name became Bruce.

     He was in the Bombay Civil Service.1
