     Sir Thomas Newcomen was born illegitimately. He was the son of Sir Beverley Newcomen, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Ussher. He married Frances Talbot, daughter of Sir William Talbot, 1st Bt. and Alison Netterville. He died on 29 April 1642.2

     Sir John Newton, 2nd Bt. was born on 9 June 1626.1 He was the son of Thomas Newton and Elizabeth Parker.1 He married Mary Eyre, daughter of Sir Gervase Eyre and Elizabeth Babington, before 1645. He died on 31 May 1699 at age 72.1

     Mary Eyre was born circa 1628.1 She was the daughter of Sir Gervase Eyre and Elizabeth Babington.1 She married Sir John Newton, 2nd Bt., son of Thomas Newton and Elizabeth Parker, before 1645. She died on 23 November 1712.1
     From before 1645, her married name became Newton.1
