     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹

     Anne Elizabeth Wayland-Smith was born on 1 December 1923.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Wayland-Smith and Gladys Marjorie Butler.² She married Captain Humphry Platt, son of Colonel Ernest Henderson Rowley Cook Richard Platt, on 19 September 1953.¹ She died on 19 February 2018 at age 94.³
     From 19 September 1953, her married name became Platt.
