     Sir John Button, 4th Bt. was born after 1622.1 He was the son of Sir William Button, 1st Bt. and Ruth Dunch.1 He married, firstly, unknown Norton.1 He married, secondly, Mary Bennet, daughter of Thomas Bennet.1 He died on 29 November 1712, without issue.1 He was buried at Wroughton, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 30 September 1707 to 5 April 1711) was proven (by probate) on 16 December 1713.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Button, of Alton, co. Wilts. [E., 1622] circa 1679.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
