     Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther of Charleton was born on 6 May 1855.1 He was the son of John Anstruther-Thomson of Charleton and Carntyne and Caroline Maria Agnes Robina Gray.2 He married Agnes Dorothea Guthrie, daughter of James Alexander Guthrie, 4th of Craigie and Ellinor Stirling, on 14 January 1882.1 He died on 21 October 1925 at age 70.1
     He was given the name of Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther-Thomson at birth.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Knight Commander, Order of Isabella the Catholic of Spain.1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He was awarded the Knight Commander, Order of the Sword of Sweden.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in the 2nd Life Guards.1 He succeeded as the 19th Lord Sinclair [S., 1449] in 1904, but for the attainder.1 His name was legally changed to Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1905.1

     Agnes Dorothea Guthrie was the daughter of James Alexander Guthrie, 4th of Craigie and Ellinor Stirling.3 She married Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther of Charleton, son of John Anstruther-Thomson of Charleton and Carntyne and Caroline Maria Agnes Robina Gray, on 14 January 1882.1 She died on 7 February 1941.1

     Lieutenant John Arnold St. Clair Anstruther was born on 23 February 1888.1 He was the son of Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther of Charleton and Agnes Dorothea Guthrie.2 He died circa 30 October 1914, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to Governor-General of Australia in 1914.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers.)1

     Grizel Margaret St. Clair of Charleton was the daughter of Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther of Charleton and Agnes Dorothea Guthrie.2 She married Knut Corfitz friherre Bonde, son of Carl friherre Bonde and Ulrika Sofia Beck-Friis, on 18 April 1911 at London, England.1,3 She died on 10 May 1970.1
     From 18 April 1911, her married name became Bonde.1,3 She succeeded as the 20th Lady Sinclair [S., 1449] on 21 October 1925, but for the attainder.1

     Knut Corfitz friherre Bonde was born on 31 July 1884 at Gimmersta, Julita, Sweden.2 He was the son of Carl friherre Bonde and Ulrika Sofia Beck-Friis.1,2 He married Grizel Margaret St. Clair of Charleton, daughter of Charles Frederick St. Clair Anstruther of Charleton and Agnes Dorothea Guthrie, on 18 April 1911 at London, England.1,2 He died on 7 March 1952 at age 67.1
     He was with the Swedish Diplomatic Service.1 He lived at Gimmersta, Julita, SwedenG.1 He was Counsellor of Legation.1
