     Christopher Wandesford, 3rd Viscount Castlecomer was born in 1717.1 He was the son of Christopher Wandesford, 2nd Viscount Castlecomer and Hon. Frances Pelham.1 He died on 8 May 1736, from smallpox, unmarried.1 He was buried on 10 May 1736 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 12 June 1736.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 February 1756.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Wandesford, of Kirklington, co. York [E., 1662] on 23 June 1719.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Castlecomer, co.      George Wandesford, 4th Viscount Castlecomer was born on 22 September 1687 at Kirklington, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Christopher Wandesford, 1st Viscount Castlecomer and Elizabeth Montagu.1 He married Susanna Griffith, daughter of Reverend John Griffith and Susanna Crosse, circa 1710.1 He died on 25 June 1751 at age 63 at St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was buried at St. Anne's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in 1751.1
     He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, on 9 November 1706.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Castlecomer, co. Kilkenny [I., 1707] on 8 May 1736.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Wandesford [I., 1707] on 8 May 1736.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Wandesford, of Kirklington, co. York [E., 1662] on 8 May 1736.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Hotham's Regiment of Foot.1

     Susanna Griffith was the daughter of Reverend John Griffith and Susanna Crosse.1 She married George Wandesford, 4th Viscount Castlecomer, son of Christopher Wandesford, 1st Viscount Castlecomer and Elizabeth Montagu, circa 1710.1 She died on 10 September 1757.1
     From circa 1710, her married name became Wandesford.1 After her marriage, Susanna Griffith was styled as Viscountess Castlecomer on 8 May 1736.
