     Lt.-Col. Hon. Robert French Handcock was born after 1809. He was the son of Richard Handcock, 2nd Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Anne French.2 He married Isabella Louisa Gordon, daughter of James Gordon, on 11 April 1848.1 He died on 3 December 1871.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Dublin City Artillery.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the British Army.1

     Major Robert Gordon Handcock was born on 25 April 1849.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Robert French Handcock and Isabella Louisa Gordon.2 He married Hon. Audrey Mary Florence Abbott, daughter of Charles Stuart Aubrey Abbott, 3rd Baron Tenterden and Penelope Mary Gertrude Smyth, on 30 March 1882.1 He died on 13 December 1906 at age 57, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Bengal Staff Corps.1
