     Brigadier Ambrose Cave was the son of Sir Thomas Cave, 1st Bt. and Penelope Wenman.2 He died in 1690 at Greenwich, London, EnglandG, killed by one Biron, an officer who bore a long-standing grudge against him and ran a sword through Ambrose's back as he sat in a banqueting hall—Biron was never caught.1
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Life Guards.1

She was the daughter of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Arran and Janet Bethune.2 She married Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Earl of Glencairn, son of William Cuninghame, 4th Earl of Glencairn and Catherine Borthwick, on 26 November 1526.1 She and Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Earl of Glencairn were divorced in 1545.2 She died in 1574.
     She was also known as Joan. From 26 November 1526, her married name became Cuninghame.

     William Chetwynd was the son of Thomas Chetwynd.2 He married Alice Egerton, daughter of Hugh Egerton.1 He died at Tirell Heath, Staffordshire, EnglandG, murdered at the instigation of Sir Humphrey Stafford, having been inveigled there early in the morning by a forged letter.1
     He held the office of Gentleman-Usher of the Chamber to King Henry VII.1 He lived at Ingestre, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Alspath, EnglandG.1

     From 24 February 1675/76, her married name became Cave.
