     He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucestershire from 1429 to 1430.1 He was Knight of the Shire for Herefordshire in 1430/31.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucestershire from 1453 to 1454.1 He was Knight of the Shire for Herefordshire in 1455.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Chaundos [E., 1337] in February 1457/58, de jure.1
