     Sir Francis Poole, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1682.2 He was the son of Sir James Poole, 1st Bt. and Anne Eyre.2 He married Frances Pelham, daughter of Henry Pelham and Frances Bine, on 13 March 1723.1 He died on 15 February 1763.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Poole, of Poole [E., 1677].1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lewes between 1743 and 1763.2
