     Captain Philip Hordern was born on 22 October 1885.¹ He was the son of Peter Hordern and Edith Charlotte Fearon.¹ He married Millicent Lubmilla Wratislaw, daughter of Lt.-Col. Marc Henry Wratislaw, on 4 May 1911.¹ He died on 26 April 1950 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.¹

     Lt.-Col. Marc Henry Wratislaw lived at Tocknell House, Painswick, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 15th Madras Infantry.¹

     Major Marc Philip Cotton Hordern was born on 21 June 1912.¹ He was the son of Captain Philip Hordern and Millicent Lubmilla Wratislaw.¹ He married Blanche Wellesley Spencer, daughter of Richard Henry Spencer, on 4 November 1939.¹ He died in February 2003 at age 90 at Oxfordshire, England.²
