     Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray was born on 12 May 1825.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Murray and Ruperta Catherine Wright.1 He married, firstly, Emily Gostling, daughter of Reverend John Whalley Gostling, on 21 March 1850.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant, daughter of Reverend John William Conant and Frances Catherine Groves, on 10 December 1878.1 He died in June 1892 at age 67.1
     He was a barrister.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Middlesex Regiment.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1890.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Whitton Park, London, EnglandG.2

Rosalind Emma Murray1

     Rosalind Emma Murray was the daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Emily Gostling.1 She married Charles Edward Hungerford Atholl Colston, 1st Baron Roundway, son of Edward Colston and Louisa Ruperta Murray, on 13 February 1879.1 She died on 8 November 1938.1
     Her married name became Colston. After her marriage, Rosalind Emma Murray was styled as Baroness Roundway on 30 June 1916.

     Charles Edward Hungerford Atholl Colston, 1st Baron Roundway was born on 16 May 1854.2 He was the son of Edward Colston and Louisa Ruperta Murray.3,2 He married Rosalind Emma Murray, daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Emily Gostling, on 13 February 1879.1 He died on 17 June 1925 at age 71.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1874 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1885.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for South Gloucestershire between 1892 and 1906.2 He was created 1st Baron Roundway, of Devizes, co. Wiltshire [U.K.] on 30 June 1916.2

     Julia Ruperta Murray was the daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Emily Gostling.1 She married, firstly, William Hale Willats, son of William Willats, on 7 July 1875.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Morgan Samuel Crofton, son of Reverend Morgan Crofton and Rebecca Barrett, on 20 June 1894.1 She died on 30 March 1949.1
     From 7 July 1875, her married name became Willats. From 20 June 1894, her married name became Crofton.

Colonel Morgan Samuel Crofton1

     Colonel Morgan Samuel Crofton was born on 2 January 1850.2 He was the son of Reverend Morgan Crofton and Rebecca Barrett.3 He married Julia Ruperta Murray, daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Emily Gostling, on 20 June 1894.1 He died on 9 January 1916 at age 66, without issue.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the South Staffordshire Regiment.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
