     Louis Alexander Villiers was born in 1902.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Edward Cecil Villiers and Anne Gordon Haynes-Smith.2 He married Muriel Sinclair Liddell, daughter of Colonel J. S. Liddell and Baroness unknown Porcelli, on 8 September 1939.1 He and Muriel Sinclair Liddell were divorced in 1963.1 He died on 22 May 1970.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Norfolk Regiment.1 He was Queen's Messenger between 1955 and 1967.3

     He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Air Force.1
