     Ian Ronald Wentworth Clark was born on 10 December 1921.1 He was the son of Brigadier Henry James Douglas Clark and Isobel Wentworth Forbes.2 He died on 4 February 1941 at age 19, killed on air operations.1
     He gained the rank of Sergeant in the Royal Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     John Maurice Clark was born on 7 November 1903.1 He was the son of Sir John Maurice Clark, 2nd Bt. and Helen Marder Douglas.2 He married Winnie Stratton Highet, daughter of Dr. Campbell Highet, on 14 October 1933.1 He died on 10 February 1995 at age 91.1,3
     He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at The Leys School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1944.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in 1946 in the Royal Engineers.1 He was on the staff of the UN Secretariat between 1946 and 1963.1

     From 14 October 1933, her married name became Clark.

     Lieutenant Ian Campbell Clark was born on 9 March 1937.1 He was the son of John Maurice Clark and Winnie Stratton Highet.2 He married Melita Powell, daughter of Ivor Gerald Powell, on 14 April 1962.1 He died on 16 March 1966 at age 29 at Sarawak, MalaysiaG, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Cyprus Campaign.1 He fought in the Aden Campaign.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.1 He fought in the Borneo Campaign between 1963 and 1966, where he was posthumously mentioned in despatches.1,3

     Melita Powell is the daughter of Ivor Gerald Powell.2 She married, firstly, Lieutenant Ian Campbell Clark, son of John Maurice Clark and Winnie Stratton Highet, on 14 April 1962.1 She married, secondly, Anthony Hurst in 1971.1 She and Anthony Hurst were divorced in 1979.1
     From 14 April 1962, her married name became Clark. From 1971, her married name became Hurst.1
