     Harold Evelyn Andrew Craven was born on 6 July 1885.1 He was the son of Alfred Eugene Craven and Edith Sartoris.1 He married Florence Mary Jackson Moore, daughter of Captain J. Moore, on 22 August 1914.1 He and Florence Mary Jackson Moore were divorced in 1932.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.1
