     Edith Murdoch Tait was the daughter of Most Rev. Rt. Hon. Archibald Campbell Tait and Catherine Spooner.1,3 She married Most Rev. & Rt. Hon Randall Thomas Davidson, 1st Baron Davidson of Lambeth, son of Henry Davidson and Henrietta Swinton, on 12 November 1878.1 She died in June 1936.1
     From 12 November 1878, her married name became Davidson.1 After her marriage, Edith Murdoch Tait was styled as Baroness Davidson of Lambeth on 14 February 1928.

     Most Rev. Rt. Hon. Archibald Campbell Tait was born on 21 December 1811 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was the son of Craufurd Tait and Susan Campbell.4,2 He married Catherine Spooner, daughter of Venerable William Spooner, on 22 June 1843 at Elmdon, Warwickshire, England.2 He died in December 1882.2
     He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He was educated at Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.2 He held the office of Bishop of London between 1856 and 1868.2 He held the office of Archbishop of Canterbury between 1869 and 1882.1

John Christopher Burton Dawnay, 5th Viscount Downe1

     John Christopher Burton Dawnay, 5th Viscount Downe was born on 15 November 1764.1 He was the son of John Dawnay, 4th Viscount Downe and Laura Burton.2 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Scott, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Scott and Margaret Dundas.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Maria Welstead, daughter of George Welstead, on 31 December 1815.1 He died on 18 February 1832 at age 67, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Downe [I., 1681] on 21 December 1780.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Petersfield between 1787 and 1790.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Wootton Bassett between 1790 and 1796.3 He was created 1st Baron Dawnay of Cowick, co. York [Great Britain] on 9 June 1796.1
     On his death, his barony became extinct.1

     Louisa Maria Welstead was the daughter of George Welstead.1 She married John Christopher Burton Dawnay, 5th Viscount Downe, son of John Dawnay, 4th Viscount Downe and Laura Burton, on 31 December 1815.1 She died on 20 March 1867, without issue.2
     After her marriage, Louisa Maria Welstead was styled as Viscountess Downe on 31 December 1815. From 31 December 1815, her married name became Dawnay.1

Elizabeth Angela Veronica Rose Nall-Cain, on 17 October 1987.1 She died on 6 July 2008, from cancer.2
