     Samuel Davis Lockwood was born on 3 May 1842.1 He was the son of Reverend John William Lockwood and Alicia Davis.1 He married Sophia Theresa Wynter, daughter of Reverend Philip Wynter, on 30 May 1871.2 He died on 28 November 1911 at age 69.1
