Harold Livingstone Tapley1

     Harold Livingstone Tapley was born on 25 January 1875 at Semaphore, South Australia, Australia.2 He was the son of Edward Charles Tapley and Mary Brock.2 He married Jean Brodie Burt, daughter of Thomas Burt.2 He died on 21 December 1932 at age 57.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was educated at St. Bede's School, Semaphore, South Australia, Australia.2 He was educated at Port Adelaide Public School, Port Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.2 He was one of the originators of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibitions.2 He was a member of the Otago Harbour Board between 1913 and 1920.2 He held the office of Mayor of Dunedin between 1923 and 1927.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [New Zealand] between 1925 and 1928, for Dunedin North.2 He lived at Beverley, 75 London Street, Dunedin, New ZealandG.1,2 He had four other sons and a daughter.2

     F/Lt. Colin Edward Livingstone Tapley is the son of Harold Livingstone Tapley and Jean Brodie Burt.2,3 He married Patricia Marjorie Hambro, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Percival Otway Hambro and Marjorie Henrietta Bingham, on 6 August 1943.1
     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force.1 He had two sons.1

     Arabella Marianne Norman is the daughter of Henry Norman and Arabella Beadon.2,3 She married Percival Lewis Hambro, son of Charles Joachim Hambro, Baron Hambro and Caroline Maria Gostenhofer, on 4 February 1875.1
     From 4 February 1875, her married name became Hambro.
