     Jane Margaret Williams-Wynne was born on 20 February 1949.2 She is the daughter of Colonel John Francis Williams-Wynne and Margaret Gwendolen Hayward Roper.1,2 She married David Alexander Cospatrick Douglas-Home, 15th Earl of Home, son of Alexander Frederick Douglas-Home, Baron Home of the Hirsel and Elizabeth Hester Alington, on 10 October 1972 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1,3
     She was educated at Queen's Gate School, London, EnglandG.2 From 10 October 1972, her married name became Douglas-Home. After her marriage, Jane Margaret Williams-Wynne was styled as Countess of Home on 9 October 1995. She lived in 2003 at 99 Dovehouse Street, London, England.2

Francis Bowes-Lyon was born on 23 February 1856.2 He was the son of Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Frances Dora Smith.1,2 He married Lady Anne Catherine Sybil Lindsay, daughter of Alexander William Crawford Lindsay, 25th Earl of Crawford and Margaret Lindsay, on 23 November 1883.1 He died on 18 February 1948 at age 91.2
