     David John Kinsey Quibell, 1st and last Baron Quibell was born on 21 December 1878.1 He was the son of David John Quibell.1 He married, firstly, Edith Jane Foster, daughter of J. Foster, on 12 September 1900.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Cameron Rae, daughter of J. C. Rae, on 27 May 1954.1 He died on 16 April 1962 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Messingham Church of England School, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He was a builder and contractor.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire, Brigg Division between 1929 and 1931.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire, Brigg Division between 1935 and 1945.1 He was created 1st Baron Quibell, of Scunthorpe, co. Lincoln [U.K.] on 7 July 1945.1 He held the office of Mayor of Scunthorpe in 1953.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1

     Eugene Joseph Squire Hargreaves Ramsden, 1st and last Baron Ramsden was born on 2 February 1883.1 He was the son of James Ramsden and Mary Jane Hargreaves.1 He married Margaret Enid Withey, daughter of Frank Eugene Withey and Nellie H. (?), on 22 May 1919.1 He died on 9 August 1955 at age 72.1
     He was a principal of James Ramsden Ltd.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bradford, North Division between 1924 and 1929.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bradford, North Division between 1931 and 1945.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1933.1 He was created 1st Baronet Ramsden, of Birkenshaw, West Riding of co. Yorks. [U.K.] on 1 July 1938.1 He was created 1st Baron Ramsden, of Birkenshaw, West Riding of co. Yorks. [U.K.] on 17 June 1945.1 On his death, his titles became extinct.1
