     Olivia Isabella Smythe is the daughter of Colonel James Smythe.² She married, firstly, Archibald Mateer before 1907.¹ She married, secondly, John Howard Parnell, son of John Henry Parnell and Delia Tudor Stewart, on 13 June 1907.¹
     From before 1907, her married name became Mateer.¹ From 13 June 1907, her married name became Parnell.

     Charles Stewart Parnell was born in June 1846.¹ He was the son of John Henry Parnell and Delia Tudor Stewart.³ He married Katharine Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell, on 2 July 1891.³ He died on 6 October 1891 at age 45, without issue.¹
