Captain William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn1

     Captain William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was born on 22 November 1894.1 He was the son of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.2 He married Joyce Jennings, daughter of Colonel Robert Henry Jennings, on 16 September 1921.1 He died on 29 October 1958 at age 63.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was Chief of Staff to the Commander-in-Chief of Rosyth between 1939 and 1940.1 He was Chief of Staff to the Flag Officer of Ceylon between 1942 and 1943.1 He gained the rank of Commodore in 1943 in the Royal Indian Navy, on secondment in the Bay of Bengal.1

     Joyce Jennings was the daughter of Colonel Robert Henry Jennings.2 She married Captain William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, son of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell, on 16 September 1921.1 She died in 1990.1
     From 16 September 1921, her married name became Scrymgeour-Wedderburn.1

     Commander Ian Alexander Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was born on 22 January 1923.1 He was the son of Captain William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn and Joyce Jennings.2 He married Pamela Desirée White, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard White, on 25 March 1947.1 He died on 16 July 2008 at age 85.3 He was buried at Dunlichity Lodge, Farr, Inverness-shire, ScotlandG.3
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He lived in 2003 at Dunlichity Lodge, Farr, Inverness-shire, ScotlandG.1

     Pamela Desirée White was born circa 1926.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard White.3 She married Commander Ian Alexander Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, son of Captain William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn and Joyce Jennings, on 25 March 1947.1 She died on 25 June 2019.2
     From 25 March 1947, her married name became Scrymgeour-Wedderburn.1
