     Josephine Antonia Archdall was born on 17 November 1852.1 She was the daughter of Reverend William Rowley Archdall and Catherine Archdall.1 She married Rt. Rev. John Edward Mercer, son of Reverend Edward Mercer, on 18 April 1883.1 She died in 1907, without issue.1
     From 18 April 1883, her married name became Mercer.1

     Rt. Rev. John Edward Mercer was the son of Reverend Edward Mercer.1 He married Josephine Antonia Archdall, daughter of Reverend William Rowley Archdall and Catherine Archdall, on 18 April 1883.1 He died on 27 April 1922.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop of Tasmania.1

     Reverend Charles Archdall was born on 16 September 1805.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Archdall and Ann Barrington.1 He married Matilda Booth, daughter of Thomas Booth, in 1835.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1830 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was the Curate between 1830 and 1835 at Kilmeadan, County Waterford, IrelandG.1 He was the Rector at Ballysheehan, County Tipperary, IrelandG, and Erry.1

     Matilda Booth was the daughter of Thomas Booth.1 She married Reverend Charles Archdall, son of Reverend Henry Archdall and Ann Barrington, in 1835.1 She died after 1879.1
     From 1835, her married name became Archdall.1
