     Muriel Kathleen Lyon was born on 24 February 1899.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Wilmot Harley Lyon and Constance Mary (?)1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Fulbert Audley Archdale, son of Major Mervyn Edward Archdale and Minna Archer, on 10 March 1920.1 She died on 10 June 1983 at age 84 at Red Gables, Canford Cliffs, Dorset, EnglandG.2 She was buried on 20 June 1983 at Bournemouth Crematorium, Bournemouth, Dorset, EnglandG.2
     From 10 March 1920, her married name became Archdale.1 As of 1976, Muriel Kathleen Lyon lived at 3 Wayside Road, Southbourne, Bournemouth, Dorset, EnglandG.1

     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Ulster Rifles and the 6th Airborne Division.2

     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, with the French Army.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1
